Self Care, Tarot and the Winter Season
Take a look at the overall theme for this season through Mindfulness and the Tarot.

How to keep up my energies and mood during the winter
Looking at all of these questions can take a little time to think about and most likely acts like the 9 of swords. Focusing on our fears and how they can take over and we can't tell which way is up. We fight an internal battle and our mind win, twisting the truth and causing doubt. It often feels as though we can not escape.
The truth is that it is difficult to see when we are in the midst of it and these "shadows" taking over and clouding our mind and judgment.
The goal here is to break free of this "mind cycle." Start by living inside your "human" body, balance your mind body and spirit and begin to do things "here", in the now that help bring you to focus and support. Many of us live out in front of ourselves (thinking "what's next") and others live in their past, re-running it over and over and not able to move on. Sometimes we get lost in life events that throw us off balance and again we cycle in this 9 of swords mentality.
Take a look at the above list once again. Take a deep breath. Are you getting closer to the answers?
HOW CAN YOU KEEP YOUR ENERGIES AND MOOD UP THIS WINTER?
Here are some "human side/here and now" things you can do:
Pamper Yourself- Let us know in the comments what do you think are some things you could or would like to do to pamper yourself?
Take walks outside- bundle up if its cold where you are. Go out and take a walk somewhere beautiful and take nice deep breaths!
Meditate- yes you can do it and you should every day!
Hot bath- don't leave out the crystals, bath salts, bubbles, light a candle, diffuse oils (sensibly if you have pets please research and make an educated decision)
Eat Cashews! I swear by this one. If you are dealing with down moods cashews cashews cashews! And exercise I can't speak enough for this even 15-30 minutes a day even a walk just move about. Don't forget to stretch!

Crystals for the Winter Season
Known as the ultimate healing stone, Quartz Crystal is perfect for curing those winter blues. Quartz Crystal is a powerful stone and has been used across cultures for healing and helping one to recognize the origin of a disease. Quartz Crystal works by clearing and re-activating the energy centers of the body which may feel stuck. This crystal promotes energy flow, which in turn helps to reinvigorate your body and mind.
Black Tourmaline is known as a stone that provides security and protection. Darker days can bring on feelings of darkness within the mind, blocking our ability to access light. Using Black Tourmaline helps us to combat these darker feelings and energy drains by creating a shield of protection. This stone repels and blocks dark and negative energy within a person, space, or property. The strong protective properties of Black Tourmaline allows us to stay in the light and maintain our spirits in hard times or times of despair.
Bloodstone, which is dark green with red speckles, is another form of quartz which can help you through dark times. It is an intense healing stone and a “stone of courage”. It provides one with the centering and grounding energy of the heart and is conducive to balancing the total body in order to help one overcome any distress and anxiety which is associated with the re-alignment of energies.
To use these crystals you can start by putting them in your sacred space, such as the entrance to your home, bedroom, or vehicle, or you can incorporate the Crystals into your regular meditation and intention-making, a crystal grid or simply wear as jewelry or carrying them in a pouch in your pocket or bag.
Affirmation for Winter Months and Uplifting Mood:
All is well. I am in the right place at the right time. I love my life and my life is in perfect balance now. I make the best decisions for my life always, I surround myself with loving relationships and I live my life with purpose. I am safe and supported always. I am healthy and strong, I love myself. All is well and working towards my highest good, abundance, security, peace, and happiness now. And so it is.
